FURNITURE EXPO
Louis Vuitton presented its Objets Nomades homeware collection at Fuori Salone in Milan for the sixth consecutive year as part of the design fair, Salone del Mobile in Milan. However, This year the house presents its first collection of deco objects entitled Louis Vuitton Les Petits Nomades.
This elegant and innovative group of decorative objects is perfect for gifting or adding the right touch to any room in the home.
Les Petits Nomades is an extension of their Objets Nomades collection, divided into creative and elegant pieces created in collaboration with great artists, including Humberto, Fernando Campana, Atelier Oi, Patricia Urquiola and Marcel Wanders.
During Design Week, The brand also announced that it will expand with a new line of travel furniture: “Nomadic Objects”, with two newcomers: the Ribbon Dance by AndrĂ© Fu and the Diamond Mirror by Marcel Wanders. The first creation is a comfortable seat whose general shape evokes infinity, with wooden armrests upholstered in precious Louis Vuitton leather. The latter is a disorder of geometries, composed of triangular mirrors that form an octagon.
Highlights of the collection include Humberto's Tropicalist Vase & Fernando Campana built with 176 “petals” two-tone metal covered in leather, inspired by South American quesnalia and bromeliad flowers, and Patricia Urquiola's Overlay Bowl is composed of just four cleverly assembled sheets of smooth but durable Louis Vuitton leather.
